New friends, Hiking mountain peaks and Muddy tracks in LaosOver the past 3 days we’ve been sharing with Stephanie & Florian from @sunsetanddust; wild bivouacs, fires, BBQ’s, travels chats, dreams, a drive down a muddy track, and hiking to the top of Phadeng Peak by the town of Mong Khiaw. It’s really been a great time!Oh, and Florian is a yoga instructor, it’s actually how Florian and Stephanie met. So one afternoon Florian gave us a yoga sesh 🧘‍♂️ gosh it felt good! Especially after so many years of driving around, we really needed it! Thanks Florian 🙏One last evening before splitting ways as they head to Thailand, and we head south to Cambodia ✌️

Finally sharing a bivouac with Overlanders! 🤩After 10 months in Australia, and 10 months in Asia, we finally found the Overlanders again, in Laos, and sharing a wild bivouac together by the river, a swim, bonfire and dinner filled with travel stories. JUST PURE JOY!Oh! How much we’ve missed traveling with fellow Overlanders, and to top it off with Defender travellers with whom we’ve been in touch for a while. 😊
